Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi has confirmed that Zalmi's team will play a match against Saudi Arabia's national cricket team.

In an interview given to Arab media, Javed Afridi said that he met Saudi Cricket Federation Chairman Prince Saud bin Meshaal in Riyadh, in which he discussed the possibility of a match between Zalmi and the Saudi cricket team.


Javed Afridi said that the Peshawar Zalmi team will soon visit Saudi Arabia and also play with the national team.


Apart from this, Javed Afridi also invited the chairman of the Saudi Cricket Federation to watch the PSL matches in Pakistan.

Peshawar Zalmi also issued a statement in this regard, in which he said that Javed Afridi assured Prince Saud bin Meshaal of all possible support from Peshawar Zalmi for the promotion of cricket in Saudi Arabia.


Apart from this, Javed Afridi also presented Zalmi's t-shirt as a gift to the Saudi prince to watch the PSL.
