Petrol likely to be more costly by Rs 30 per litre |
Due to inflation, people are getting ready to drop a petrol bomb once again, in which petrol is likely to be 30 rupees more expensive.
According to sources, the government is considering imposing 17% GST on petroleum products.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had announced, at the end of January, a huge hike of Rs 35 in the price of petrol and diesel.
After this announcement, the petrol price was Rs 249 80 paise while the high-speed diesel price was Rs 262 80 paise per litre.
Similarly, kerosene is available at Rs 189 83 paise per litre, and light diesel oil at Rs 187 per litre.
