Aid from Saudi will be received this month, and Pakistan will never default: Ishaq Dar
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s a white paper regarding the economy.
While holding a press conference along with other federal ministers in Islamabad, Ishaq Dar said that PTI has tried to mislead the people with the white paper and is also misleading regarding imports and exports.
He said that PTI's claim that 55 lakh jobs were created during his tenure is not true.
He said that the government has collected tax revenue of 3429 billion rupees in 6 months and will collect a tax of 7470 billion rupees this year.
Regarding the default, the finance minister said that the financial position of the country will be much better by June 30, 2023, than before. is being damaged.
He said that the institutions will be privatized at the government level, the government will complete the program with the IMF, Pakistan's promises to the IMF will be fulfilled, and the ninth and tenth reviews with the IMF will be carried out. While the IMF has asked for a flood relief spending program.
Ishaq Dar expressed hope that aid will be received from Saudi Arabia this month.
He said that inflation is very painful, and efforts have been made not to increase the prices of petroleum products.
