Karachi Test: Pakistan in dire straits, half team out for 80 runs on the final day of 2nd Test

Chasing 319 runs on the final day of the second and deciding Test between Pakistan and New Zealand, Shaheen's batting continues.

Pakistan scored 80 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their second innings, Sarfraz Ahmed is at the wicket and Saud Shakeel has come to the ground to support him.

The first Pakistani player to get out today was Imam-ul-Haq who once again went forward and was bowled by Ish Sodhi, he played an inning of 12 runs.

Pakistan's fourth wicket fell on 77 runs when Babar Azam was caught behind the wickets off Bracewell for 27 runs while Shaan Masood was also caught out trying to go for a long hit, he played an inning of 35 runs.

Yesterday, New Zealand declared their second innings 277 runs for 5 out and gave Pakistan a target of 319 runs to win.

Pakistan got off to a very disappointing start in the second innings with two wickets out for no runs in just 2.5 overs.

It should be remembered that New Zealand had scored 449 runs in the first innings, in response to which the Pakistani team was dismissed by scoring 408 runs in the first innings.
