KARACHI: The value of the dollar has started to decline after continuously becoming expensive in the interbank market and reaching the highest level in history.


At the opening of trade on Tuesday, the dollar was priced at Rs 269.63, the dollar gained another 37 paise during the trading session and settled at Rs 270.


However, during the business, a sudden decrease in the value of the dollar was observed and the dollar became cheaper by 63 paise and then by 37 paise.


The dollar has so far depreciated by 37 paise to one rupee and one US dollar has fallen to 268 rupees in the interbank market.
