The Chairman of the Management Committee of  Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi has announced the timetable for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Edition No.8.

While giving a press conference in Lahore, Najam Sethi said I am happy to hold a press conference related to PSL-8, last year was good for PSL, Pakistan Super League is a bigger T20 brand than IPL.



He said that the opening ceremony of PSL 8 will be held in Multan, and the matches of the league will be held in two phases, the matches will be held in Multan, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.



He said that on the occasion of PSL, women will have three exhibition matches in which foreign players will also participate.



Najam Sethi said that in the first meeting of the management committee, they said that they want to hold an exhibition match in Quetta, they have also talked to the management there about the matches in Quetta.



He said that the players are not facing a shortage of payment in PSL, the payment is gradually increasing.


Regarding the addition of teams in the league, the head of the management committee said that they are talking to the franchises about adding the seventh and eighth teams, adding teams is a challenge, but we hope to overcome it.



He said that the infrastructure of the stadium has not been worked on within four years, I am both surprised and worried about the lack of work.



Pakistan Super League Schedule:


According to the PSL schedule, the first match between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans will be played on February 13 in Multan.



Out of 34 matches, 11 matches will be played in Rawalpindi, 9 matches will be played in Karachi and Lahore, and 5 matches will be played in Multan.


The final of the Pakistan Super League will be held on March 19 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
