The 89-year-old has earned a master's degree.

Florida: An American woman has earned a two-year degree despite being 25 years old, but she completed the acquisition process online.

Joanne Donovan, 89, has a master's in creative writing online from Southern New Hampshire University. When he was awarded the degree on Christmas Eve, he described it as a double joy.

Joanne, who lives in Florida, threw a house party to mark the occasion and expressed her joy by wearing a graduation dress. He said that at the age of 16, she passed high school but her family did not have money for further education. He joined a local college but could not continue due to marriage.

However, when his children left home after marriage, he first did his bachelor's at the age of 84, covering a four-year course. She wanted to do her Master's in Creative Writing but was rejected by several universities and now she has done her Masters from the University of New Hampshire which was an online course.

Juan is overjoyed to have his wish come true and advises the new generation not to give up at any point.
