The USA wants to continue its strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia
Riyad: America, angry with Saudi Arabia for oil production and making several trade agreements with China, once again expressed its desire for a strategic partnership.
In an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya, US National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said that we have more than 80 years of relationship with Saudi Arabia that should continue in the public interest.
John Kirby also expressed the desire that the United States wants to continue the strategic partnership related to the national security of Saudi Arabia for the benefit of its people.
John Kirby, the strategic communication coordinator of the US National Security Council, said that the Joe Biden administration in the new US government is making serious efforts to stabilize relations with Saudi Arabia.
John Kirby said that he has received positive signals from the Saudi government. We are well aware of Saudi Arabia's important role in sustainable peace in the Middle East and we will not allow the common enemy to gain a foothold there.
It should be noted that the demand of US President Joe Biden to increase oil production was rejected by OPEC countries including Saudi Arabia, while recently Saudi Arabia has signed dozens of trade agreements with China.
