Consumers of less than 300 units will be protected: Energy Minister

ISLAMABAD: Federal Energy Minister Khurram Dastgir has said that the government will protect consumers who use less than 300 units of electricity.

Talking to the Geo News program today with Shahzeb Khanzada, he said that if the delayed fuel adjustment charges are received in the coming months, the circular debt will be reduced.

He said that the same thing is going on with the IMF, quarterly fuel adjustment is to be introduced for those with more than 300 units and those who consume less than 300 units of electricity will be protected.
