The joy of Karachi Kings fans defeating Lahore Qalandars

Although Karachi Kings failed to make it to the next stage of the event, their fans are happy to remain unbeaten against Lahore Qalandars this season.

"Karachi Kings may have 999 problems but beating Lahore Qalandars is not a problem," wrote one user.

While a user named Muzamil wrote that the top management of Karachi Kings should go back and think calmly about where the mistake was made. According to me, they should bring professional players to the team otherwise their players will always be under scrutiny whether it is Imad, Amir, or last season Babar Azam.

While one user said that Karachi Kings played some great matches in the eighth season of PSL which were much better than Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United but perhaps luck was not with Kings this time.

A user wrote that Karachi Kings won the match and got access to the airport instead of the next stage.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Islamabad United by 13 runs in the 29th match of the Pakistan Super League.

Zalmi's defeat to United: 'I was as loyal to him as Faheem was to Islamabad'

Even in the absence of Babar Azam, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Shadab Khan's Islamabad United by 13 runs in the 29th match of the Pakistan Super League. Now, these two teams will face each other again next week in the first elemental match.

If Islamabad had won this match today, their position on the points table would have improved from third to second and then they would have played a qualifier match with Lahore but now Lahore Qalandar and Multan Sultans will play a qualifier match on Wednesday.

The winner of the match between Multan and Lahore will make it to the final of the PSL while Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will once again take on each other on Thursday to knock each other out of the tournament.

Babar Azam's Peshawar Zalmi is currently the fourth-ranked team but their fans are praying for their speedy recovery so that they can become the number one number-one team in this tournament.

Peshawar Zalmi's Mohammad Haris was declared the man of the match today, who scored 79 runs off 39 balls.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa scored 41 runs while only two other players from Zalmi could enter double figures. Tom Koehler Cadmore scored 12 while Haseebullah Khan scored only 10 runs.

Hasan Ali was the most successful bowler of Islamabad who took three wickets by giving 39 runs in four overs. Shadab Khan guided two Zalmi batsmen to the pavilion by giving 42 runs in four overs.

Islamabad United's Faheem Ashraf took one wicket with 39 runs in four overs, while Fazal Haq Farooqui took one wicket with 27 runs in four overs and Mohammad Wasim took one wicket with 31 runs in four overs.

When it was his turn to bat, Faheem Ashraf scored 38 runs off 13 balls for Islamabad. He was clean bowled on the third ball of the last over when Islamabad needed 14 runs off four balls.

Earlier Faheem Ashraf has been helping his team out of this problem. They brought the match close to victory today, but then according to Shadab, the match could have been won, but today his team did not play smart cricket.

Islamabad United Saqib Mehmood and Colin Munro scored 15 and 15 runs respectively. Rehmatullah Garbaz scored 33, captain Shadab Khan scored 25 runs off 19 balls, and Saim Ayub was caught off Saifian Muqim.

Mohammad Wasim scored 4 runs and remained not out.

Peshawar Zalmi's Khurram Shehzad and Safian Moqim took three wickets each, while James Neesham and Aamir Jamal guided two players to the pavilion.

Mujeebur Rahman and Salman Irshad failed to take any wickets.

"Islamabad United could not even cross this target"

In Rawalpindi, where batsmen were making centuries upon centuries and the target of 200-plus seemed easy, Peshawar Zalmi's dismissal for 179 in the first innings and then Islamabad's failure to achieve the target is a different story.

A user named Ali Hamza addressed Shadab Khan's team and questioned that Islamabad could not even achieve this goal. He said that now it has been confirmed that Lahore and Sultan Top have two teams.

For the sadness of a failed lover, a user named Junoon put his face on Faheem's shoulder and said something like this, 'I was as loyal to him as Faheem was to Islamabad.'

A user named Nawaz wrote that Rizwan's team Multan helped Babar's team Peshawar Zalmi qualify by beating Quetta yesterday. Babar's team Peshawar beat Islamabad today, bringing Rizwan's team to the top two.
