PSL8: Will the first qualifier be held in Lahore today or not? PCB issued a statement

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today issued a statement regarding the first qualifier of the HBL PSL due to the tense situation in Lahore.

PCB said in a statement on Twitter that today's match between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars will be as per schedule.

The #HBLPSL8 Qualifier in Lahore today will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium as scheduled.

PCB has informed that the match will be played in Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Due to the non-bailable arrest warrant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan issued, the Islamabad Police team along with a heavy contingent of Lahore Police has been present at Zaman Park since yesterday, where they were arrested by PTI workers. There is strong resistance to this occurrence.
