Petrol LCs are open, no closures: Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik


Minister of State for Petroleum Mossadegh Malik says that LCs are open for petrol, no closure has been imposed, and there is ample stock of petrol and diesel in the country.


Speaking to Geo News, Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik said that there is no shortage of petrol and diesel, nor is there any fear, prices are not being increased.


The Minister of State for Petroleum said that petrol pump owners are deliberately spreading rumors of shortage, action is being taken against such dealers and owners, petrol LCs are open, and no closure has been imposed.


Musadik Malik said that he will review the price on February 15, before that there will be no change in the price.


It ought to be noticed that there is a supposed lack of petroleum in different cities of Punjab and the greater part of the petrol pumps are shut.


According to reports, most of the petrol pumps are closed in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Sargodha, the sale of petroleum products is stopped at most of the petrol pumps while there are long lines of vehicles at a couple of open petrol pumps.


A couple petrol pumps are likewise open in Khushab, Shakargarh, Mandi Bahauddin, and, Gojra.


Citizens express that the open petrol pumps are giving Rs 500 petrol to car owners and Rs 200 petrol to motorcyclists.


Petrol pump owners telling that there are decreasing delivery of petroleum products by petroleum dealers.
