Geo TV Drama Tere Bin: Sabeena Farooq 'It was difficult to imagine such a girl falling in love with a boy to such an extent'.

'Hum bhi kunware, oure veh bhi kunware.' (I am Bachelor and He is also Bachelor) Actress Sabeena Farooq, who has given life to her acting and dialogue delivery in many dialogues, including this dialogue written by dramatist Nooran Makhdoom, says that in the drama 'Tere Bin', she has not played her role. Haya faces a lot of hate from Pakistani fans but they also enjoy the memes created on Haya's dialogues.

Actress Sabeena Farooq playing the role of Haya in the Geo Entertainment drama serial 'Tere Bin' is a negative character that is popular with the audience because of Haya's dialogues and Sabeena's lively delivery.

The cast of 'Tere Bin' has actors Wahaj Ali and Yamuna Zaidi playing the lead roles, while the supporting cast includes Bushra Zaidi, Fazila Qazi, Mahmood Aslam, Samir Sohail, Farhan Ali Agha, Hara Soomro, Agha Mustafa, and Subhan Awan. Produced by Seventh Sky Entertainment, this serial is directed by Sirajul Haq.

It was difficult to imagine such a girl falling in love to such an extent.

Sabeena Farooq has been working in the drama industry since 2016. She has worked with established actors in the industry and has acted in one web series and nine dramas so far.

Her work in both the Hum TV serials 'Sunu Chanda' and 'Kashf' was highly appreciated but still, she rarely appeared on the screen.

She explains that she was looking for a big break which she got in the form of 'Tere Bun'. However, earlier he had rejected this script, but due to the presence of actress Yumna Zaidi in the cast, he changed his decision.

Sabeena Farooq said, "When I read the script, obviously I could play a controversial role and I was afraid of that."

Sabeena said that after reading the script again, she liked Haya's character and her boldness and frankness.

Talking about Haya's character, he said that she is a person who loves to be feared. She says openly in front of everyone I love that boy, what's the problem.

Sabeena added that she had no references in life for the role of Haya.

It was difficult for me to imagine such a girl falling so deeply in love with a boy. I am not even one percent modest myself, so I was finding it difficult to connect with him. Apart from that, there was no girl in my sight that I could be impressed by seeing.

'Putting on shoes, Bengali baji, and slapping'

Critics of the drama serial 'Tere Bin', which is trending on social media including TV every week, say that the last time a drama got this level of popularity was the drama serial 'Mere Paas Tum Ho'.

But with its popularity, there was a lot of discussion on certain scenes of 'Tere Bin'. For example, in one scene, Haya was shown even wearing shoes in love with Murtisam.

Sabeena defended the scene and said, "If we don't show Haya's actions, in the beginning, to fall so much for Murtisam, we would not be able to justify her love." Loves so much that she falls in her shoes. Thankfully, people are understanding that he has a one-sided love, but it is very intense.

Some critics say that actors should not do scenes in which women are humiliated by justifying love. About this, Sabeena says that she can't say about big stars, but at this and they stage, they are in their careers, andthey don't go at all.

Another controversial topic like wearing shoes is slapping women in anger on screen. At one point in 'Tere Bin', the main character Merib is slapped by Murtasam and mother Begum in anger. There was criticism that these slaps should not have been shown. In this drama, Haya was also slapped by Maa Begum, but her condemnation was nowhere to be seen.

Sabeena said that 'because Meereb is a positive character, people felt bad for her to be slapped, but because Haya is an evil or jealous character, people felt that she deserved it.'

However, Sabeena agrees that slapping on the TV screen is not right. "Why do you promote violence," she says. I think that your tongue and eyes say so much on TV that there is no need to raise your hand for it.

Another criticism of the play is the practice of witchcraft to get the beloved, for which the reference to 'Bengali Baji' was used.

Sabeena apologized for using this quote and said, "It is well known in our country that Bengali Baba has a cure for everything." We put it in that sense but still, I would like to apologize.

However, he said that this witchcraft series will end in half an episode, so all the fans should be happy.

"Haya Baji is feasting hearts"

About her favorite dialogues in the play, Sabeena said, "There was a dialogue recently that 'Dil hai koi makan nahi' that took out one and gave place to another." This is a fort. If someone conquered it, it became his.

A dialogue became very famous that we are virgins, we are also virgins. A very funny meme was made on him that if you fall and get hurt on your head, you say things like that.'

She laughingly mentioned a meme created on Valentine's Day "There was a funny meme that said 'My bestie on Valentine's Day, we are virgins, we are virgins.'

Sabeena recently posted a picture on her Instagram account in a black ensemble and wrote a fun caption, 'Just wear a black suit and go in front of your lover, then you won't have to do black magic.'

When asked about this, she said that in the first episode, I say that hearts also have relationships, and hearts also have marriages, so my heart is already married. Then when Merab does bad things to her (Murtasam), I say that Murtasam does not need to be divorced from me, their hearts are divorced. So when I posted the picture on (Instagram), it was written that Haya Baji is celebrating hearts. They are all about hearts. There are also memes that Haya Baji does everything in the heart, she must have had children in the heart too.

Sabeena says that she herself enjoys these memes a lot and doesn't feel bad about them at all.

He said that in these memes, another character of the play, Rohail and Haya, is also being advised to become one.

"They give bad prayers to me and my parents"

Sabeena also seemed quite heartened by the messages she received from the fans of the drama serial 'Tere Bin' and she also expressed this in one of her social media posts recently.

He says that people in Pakistan cannot differentiate between an actor and a character.

If the character is called bad, it is also understandable. They say dirty things in messages and attack your personality. Give bad prayers to me and my parents. I leave it to God and I don't take it personally so seriously. My mental health is not affected.

Talking further on these negative messages, he also justified that 'in the beginning, I didn't get any hate at all, only love. Now maybe it has become more because just where there is this level of chemistry between the two of them (Merib and Murtasam) and because there is a lot of love for them, now I hate them.

The drama serial 'Tere Bin' is being watched with interest not only in Pakistan but also in the UK, USA, Canada, and Bangladesh, from where Sibna was extremely grateful for the positive messages received.

He specifically mentioned the messages coming from neighboring India where the drama is trending every week like Pakistan.

The praise I am getting from there, I am surprised that the reaction is not coming from Pakistan. He is coming from a neighboring country.

"We have to be honest and I want to give an honest answer," she added. I don't remember any bad message coming from India, never.'

Sabeena complains that she is constantly being cast in negative roles but wishes to be given a chance to show her talent in positive roles as well.

She says, "If I can't do it, well, I will admit that I can't do it, but I never got the chance."
